With that being said, Dustan and his crew were absolutely amazing!! Dustan called me almost immediately after I contacted them about my basement flooding, and he was able to very clearly explain to me the process, the pricing software they use (with the caveat that they couldn’t know the total cost until they started the water mitigation demo process), and the timeline. Since it was late in the day, I opted to not pay the after-hours cost, but they were out the very next morning assessing the damage and calculating the approximate cost. Once they had a better picture of the damage, Dustan answered all of my questions and concerns and helped me understand the importance of the various things that needed to be done to get the job done properly and not have to worry about mold or mildew in the future. This involved removing quite a bit of drywall and carpet and deconstructing the bathroom before they set up the dehumidifiers and fans. The demo work was as beautiful as it could have been. The drywall removed was cut in straight lines, so it would be easy to repair. They came every day to check on the progress and the moisture levels to ensure I didn’t have to pay for any extra days of equipment that weren’t necessary. Because I was going to be out of town for most of that time, I set a temporary password on my garage door for them to use and all went very smoothly. Like I said, I am a single woman who lives alone…it is a BIG deal to have men coming in and out of my house for days on end, whether I am there or not. I never once felt unsafe with any of Dustan’s team and I am SO thankful I reached out to them to address the water damage. Pipe burst in the wall and flooded under the floor as my first major disaster since owning my home. The guys were here very quickly. They patiently walked me through what to expect going forward as they worked diligently. Dustan managed the project well, and I was able to get a new floor with minimum hassle. I will definitely be calling them again should the need ever arise.
